The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "overpower" the American as the two fighters came face-to-face to publicize the upcoming boxing match.
Ex twice world boxing king Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami's arena on 19 December.
Fighter's Mindset
"I'm going to injure his face and damage his physique. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to really want to injure him. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
Despite such comments, a composed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically known for his theatrics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul rather attacked former Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, at the same time, took aim at British rival Tyson Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua said.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Paul's History
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
However, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's biggest financial successes, regularly earning huge financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old anticipated a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would derail the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently in the works for two years from now.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul stated.
Physical Disparity
As both boxers participated in the usual face-off, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it emphasized just how surprising this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is truly going ahead.
